— Korea’s only FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) service for finance and accounting professionals
— Upload bookkeeping and ledger data for real-time financial analysis and KPI budgeting — dramatically cutting cost and time
— Also handles projected financials, cash management, business-unit performance, new-business ROI review, and company valuation

One of the most important references in any business decision is the financial statement — the view into a company’s financial health. Yet without a finance expert, it’s nearly impossible to analyze the many data points to understand a company’s current position and outlook. That’s why companies invest heavily in hiring finance specialists.

Numen (formerly Finex): an AI finance-management solution built on ERP ledger data

Numen is Korea’s only FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) tool that quickly analyzes and presents 20 core financial metrics — essential to decisions by executives and investors — from basic data such as bookkeeping and general ledgers. Originally a finance-automation solution for non-experts, it has been fully rebuilt into an enterprise finance-management solution for finance professionals, in response to demand from CFOs and finance leaders.

Bom Lee, CEO of AICY (operator of Numen), said, “Numen is a finance-management service that analyzes the key metrics needed for major business decisions in real time — all the way to KPI budgeting,” adding, “Analysis that used to rely on manual Excel work is now completed accurately and in real time with AI, saving significant time and cost.”

Core metrics that once required manual Excel entry each time — contribution margin, cash runway, cash operating-profit margin, receivables collection period, cost analysis, and more — are analyzed in real time and shown intuitively on a dashboard once you upload bookkeeping and ledger data. From there, Numen automatically drafts monthly financial statements and cash-flow analysis reports. Financial analysis and KPI budgeting that used to take finance/accounting experts days can be done in minutes — saving cost and time. Numen lets finance professionals analyze metrics quickly, easily manage KPI budgets such as EBITDA, return on equity, and return on assets, and automatically generate projected financials from that data. It also supports cash management, business-unit performance management, new-business investment ROI review, and company valuation.

Affordable SaaS pricing and finely tiered service packages

Unlike the finance modules of legacy ERPs, which can cost anywhere from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of won, Numen’s subscription SaaS is affordable. It also offers finely tiered service packages so companies can pick exactly what they need, with a 7-day free onboarding service.

Launched in November 2022, Numen was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ tech-startup program ‘TIPS’ in June 2023, and for the D.CAMP ‘D.DAY x Tech’ program run by the Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs that October. Numen was also chosen for NAVER Cloud’s ‘Open Innovation’ program and, alongside NAVER Cloud, participated in ‘Try Everything 2024,’ the global startup event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government at DDP through September 12.
