Your first 15 minutes

A hands-on quickstart: sign in, add an agent, ask a question, and see live analysis.

Fifteen minutes is enough to sign in, load some data, and watch an agent produce real analysis. Follow along — everything here is safe and reversible.

Uploading a GL: columns are auto-mapped, and the first anomaly scan runs automatically — free.

Step by step

  1. 1Sign in at service.numen.run with your account. You land in the workspace shell.
  2. 2Complete the one-time onboarding. A conversational flow walks you through uploading your trial balance → general ledger (GL) → financial statements (BS/IS), in that order. Upload the files exactly as your ERP exports them — no reformatting. The AI maps accounts automatically, cross-checks the trial balance against the ledger, and sets up your FP&A environment in your company's own statement format.
  3. 3Pick a module. Use the module switcher in the top-left of the sidebar and choose Plan — it is the fastest place to start.
  4. 4Check your data in the GL Data agent. The ledger you uploaded during onboarding is already loaded — skim the account mapping and balances before you start asking questions.
  5. 5Ask the AI chat. Open the chat at the center of the workspace and ask a plain-language question, e.g. "What were my top 5 expense accounts last quarter?" Watch it show its reasoning steps and cite the data it used.
  6. 6Watch it build a widget. The chat drops a live chart or table (a widget) onto the canvas — the document that makes up the page. Nothing was manually built; the agent did it.
  7. 7Change the period or entity. Use the data-period/version control and the entity switcher at the top to re-scope the view; the widgets refresh to match.
  8. 8Save or share. The canvas auto-saves as you go. Set up an external share link to share the page instantly with people outside your team, or save it as a template to reuse next month.
Note
Nothing here is destructive. Uploading a ledger and asking questions never changes your source files, and the canvas auto-saves — you can always undo, re-scope, or start a fresh page.
Tip
Stuck for a first question? Try "Summarize revenue and margin trends for this year" or "Which cost accounts grew fastest?" — the agent will pick the right data on its own.

That is the core loop — ask, watch, refine, save. Everything else in Numen builds on it.
